In social bridge the following apply:
It is the people that make bridge fun - not the esoteric card combinations.
Playing cards with friends is what it's all about.
Once you have your tricks, it is not nice to pester the opponents and prolong the play for an overtrick.
Doubling for penalties is down right nasty; the disappointment of not making it suffices.
Enjoy social bridge in homes, club houses, coffee houses... anywhere 4 people can put their heads together!
If bidding is complex, you can ask your partner what their bid meant during the card game, if the opponents agree.
Find your fellow social players!
Search the internet for bridge, and you will find the clubs near you. The director of each club may be able to connect you with other players.
